Stay at the edge of the Arctic wilderness

Trapper’s Station

Life at Basecamp Hotel

Step inside a warm and welcoming hideaway built in the spirit of Arctic trappers. Mornings begin with the soft glow of light over the valley, the scent of fresh coffee, and the crackle of timber inside the lodge. Throughout the day, the hotel becomes a gathering place for adventurers returning from the wild — sharing stories, drying gear, and preparing for the next day’s journey.
Evenings slow down.

Lamps cast a gentle glow over handmade furniture, local artefacts, and the wooden textures that define the trapper’s heritage. Outside, the silence of Svalbard settles in, broken only by shifting winds and the distant howl of dogs. Basecamp Hotel is more than a place to stay — it’s a feeling of belonging in the Arctic.
